Happy Christmas

As we are only a few days away from Christmas, I know its a busy time for everyone. So I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a Big Happy and Safe Christmas to you all.

I have loved owing my ScanNCut this year and never imagined that when I bought it back in March that i would be doing video tutorials and running a forum.

I have nearly 2400 subscribers to my Youtube channel, which since March is amazing, I would like to thank everyone who has subscribed both to my youtube and here on my blog, it is great to know that you are all there and that my tutorials help.

I will try and carry on doing videos throughout 2015. I am going to try and do more project based videos too, maybe once a month I will be using card, paper and fabric from my stash, but as you know I have signed up to Stampin Up and am trialling having an online shop.

So if I use any of their products and you wish to purchase, you can buy them through my SU store. I have to say from the few products I bought myself they are lovely quality and the pattern double sided papers are beautiful. There are links to the online catalog both on here and in my shop, but I have paper copies they are Free, if anyone does want to peruse they are heavy so postage will have to be paid.

The link is in the sidebar on the home page here on my blog and its also on the forum.

So again thank you for your lovely comments throughout this year, take care and have a great Christmas.

  1. Happy Christmas to you too. Thank you for all the videos and tutorials that you have done for us. I have had my scanandcut since January and it fits like a glove (if you understand what I mean). I have got on with it from day one and use it almost daily as a tool for cutting out stamped images, some that I wouldn’t attempt to cut out. I have done small frond like drawings and cut them out to use on cards, and use the inbuilt shapes. I must find time to actually follow your projects, I am storing them up for when I have a day doing just that and learning more on canvas. Too busy using it. What I do lack is imagination and that is where you come in. So a big thank you and a Happy Christmas and New Year. Jo

    1. I am glad you are loving your machine and it’s great to know you have got on with it from the beginning, as so many sem to struggle. It is a great tool and I agree it can be used for so many things everyday. Enjoy the videos when you get time to watch them and I hope they help.

  8. And a very Happy Christmas to you. Would also like to add my thanks for the videos on the SnC. Had mine from launch and started ok with the basics but struggled a bit with Canvas until I found your videos. They have helped so much and I really appreciate the time and effort you go to. I would have missed so much without your help. Looking forward to the new “stuff” next year and I hope it will be a good one for you and your family.

  9. Merry Christmas and Happy 2015. Thanks you for all you help you gave me with the rhinestone projects, without you I couldn’t have finished them. Your videos are so much help to all of us with our SNC and I’m looking forward to all the new projects you send our way next year. Thanks again, Annette

  10. I too must give you a great big Thank You for all the videos you have done for us. I love my Scan N Cut as well. Question about the card box video above, which was wonderful. When you scored the lines it looked like you did this without a ruler. If I tried to run a line down without any guide I am sure it would be all wonky. Was there any trick to this using the scoring board you have? Thanks again and wishing you much success in 2015.

    1. Hi thank you glad you like them. There is no trick to the scoring it’s the Stampin Up scoreboard, it’s grooved every 1/8th of an inch including the upstand that you butt the card up to.

It comes with a double ended ball tool, you just put the ball into the groove in the upstand and pull towards you it stays in that groove line all the way so you have a good score.

You can purchase them from my stampin up shop if you are in the UK or Europe, if you are in the US you will have to find a local demonstrator to buy from.

      1. Do you know what type or weight the paper was you were cutting. You should only need a low blade and cut pressure for paper
