    1. Its fine you can come out of the chicken coup now! i did mine and all seems to be well, we have our missing shapes back. We still haven’t got the alignment cross hatch back but i am wondering if they have taken that out now we have the 200+% zoom option.

  2. Now I see you have already given it your stamp of approval. Maybe I’ll try it today. What is it going to do for us that is new? I recommended you to several people over the weekend while I was helping to sell Embrilliance with my friend. She is one of the people who developed the software! We were working at the Sewing and Stitchery Expo in Puyallup, WA, USA. You can check out the Expo’s fb page to see us in there somewhere!

    1. Oh great thank you, I will go and look tonight when i sit down with my iPad. I bet you were busy i love EE i don’t use it a lot but thats because i don’t machine embroidery a lot just a time thing really, but when i need EE and my embroidery function on my machine they are both great.
The update gave us the ability to be able to zoom in 200% and more and then be able to move objects around whilst zoomed, which is good. It gave us the ability to undo steps, but we cannot undo after we have welded and they changed the name of the delete size icon. I like the zoom option the best.

  3. I have installed it and the missing pages are there but the crosshair is still missing.

    1. Yes they are i posted about that i don’t know if they have been removed now we have the 200 & 400 % zoom. We will have to see what happens.

      1. I emailed them and they said that it’s only shown when you use the arrow keys to move an item. I could have sworn that it was there automatically when you picked a shape and wanted to move it manually, but perhaps `i’m wrong.

  4. WARNING!!!!!! Make sure you DO NOT have a USB in the machine when you start the install process. I wasn’t thinking and still had one in from something I was working on the last two days and now my SNC no longer functions. I have a blank screen and can’t even turn the machine off. I will now have to pay to have it serviced since I’ve had it over a year and the warranty has run out. What a stupid thing to not have a safety built into the machine.

    1. UPDATE: After several hours just for the heck of it I decided to try it again (without the USB inserted this time ;0) just to see what would happen. Surprise!, it came up just fine and I installed the update. You would think that the customer support person at Brother could have told me to try this instead of just sending me to a repair facility. I had tried unplugging and pushing the load mat and power button twice when I originally made the mistake and just got a blank screen and the SNC wouldn’t power off. I’m guessing it needed a reset timeframe(?). Anyway, I’m soooo relieved and can get on with my St. Patrick’s cards.

      1. It’s even more of a relief after finding out the cost for it to be repaired would have been $99 (!!!) plus any parts if necessary.

I really haven’t had good customer support the two times I called with problems with this machine. Last year I called because the setting on the blade holder was decreasing as I cut. After the lack of help I guessed that the threads on the blade holder were too loose and the cause so I added tape around the threads like you do in plumbing. I actually switched holders but it did work on a test cut. I read on here (or the SNC blog) the other day that someone else had done this with their holder as well.
