ScanNCut In the hoop appliqué

A few months ago I posted a video showing how I used my ScanNCut to scan the basting line of an in the hoop appliqué design.

I thought I would try it out again today, this process works well with the ScanNCut and can save time on cutting and gives a very neat finish to a project. I used a different design this time.

The original post was dated 29th March and the video is here showing how I did it.

  1. Lovely project . This has encouraged me to get out my embroidery machine again. I used to find the cutting with the applique a real pain the edges were never as neat as I wanted. But this is great. thanks for all your videos.

  2. Can you tell me how you got the pattern onto your emb. Machine, I have a brother machine but did not know I could take a pattern from the net and get it into my machine, any help would be appreciated. Lorrie,

    1. I bought the pattern off the net, saved it on my computer, then it inserted a USB stick into my computer. I right click the embroidery file and chose copy, then I select the USB and right click and chose paste. I put the USB stick into my. Janome and open the file and find my design
